Obviously if democrats want to stand any chance against the republicans in the midterms and down the line in 2028, we’re going to have to make some concessions and cut support for cis people. I know it’s controversial but it just doesn’t make sense in the current political climate

I know some folks think that differentiating between sex and gender is woke, and the definitions are too complicated, and it's new and we can't expect people to understand, and here's notoriously woke outlet Hustler explaining it to a reader in 1974.

The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.

Somebody said "They voted for racism and got poverty" The thing is... social scientists and economists have been saying for the last 50 years Racism is austerity

look if shit is so dire for the democrats that they NEED every vote from trans people, maybe they shouldn't run candidates who are transphobic or fold on even the slightest pushback to trans rights it's not our fault y'all's guys suck

Why do we keep on doing this? Praising a 'small core team' for a game with 1100+ people in the credits is incredibly misleading. This PR narrative hurts, hides the massive shadow workforce of outsourced developers and testers, and sets impossible standards for actual indie teams.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer was made by a core team of 75 people. "What we wanted to do was keep that core small, smaller than perhaps you might have done in the past, and scale capacity and capability with what we call distributed development." https://bit.ly/4hT02qg

this is the reason these questions are asked. it doesn't matter how well el-sayed answers, the media get to write a headline with his name and the muslim brotherhood in it. heated, islamist, implications, criticize, disavow, dual loyalty, scary man bad

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamist political movement, during a heated exchange at a town hall. https://cnn.it/4s7r1TL

liberal complicity in the rise of nazism is *the* cautionary tale of the 20th century. it’s the basis of the “First they came for…” poem. it’s in the plot of Cabaret. the Hindenburg was named after the liberal president who appointed Hitler as Chancellor. liberalism made nazism possible

Ahhhhh@nerdjpg.com · 3d ago

Liberals put Hitler in power because of the threat of communism and the movement behind it was filled with petty bourgeois people disgruntled with democratic socialism . Good thing we won’t repeat this pattern again!
