I'm absolutely losing it. Everything in here is made up (we hired an actor, rented a car, did not use AI, obviously), but he just invents a whole-ass world. Boner pills are a helluva drug.

House GOP leaders cancel votes on Thursday - sending lawmakers home later today until after the elections. That means the House can avoid a vote on the Hegseth impeachment plan from Rep. Thomas Massie R-KY.

how this happened: @eringloriaryan.bsky.social said "hey do you want to rant about George W. Bush for more than an hour" and I said, "I've been waiting for this day since I was in eighth grade."

In case anybody thought I was being unnecessarily hyperbolic, here's @eringloriaryan.bsky.social and @janecoaston.bsky.social with the new breakdown for you. Required listening/viewing for folks who didn't learn this from 00-08, or a refresher for those of us who did youtu.be/wP1osGxh_Dw?...

It's weird that so many of you are always apologizing to some cool guy you're imagining from 15 years ago before you can say Macklemore is good and cool. That cool guy is probably dead. He was having a hard time. You are free.

Worth noting, as Macklemore was banned by NFL owners in what will be dubbed "fighting antisemitism", that Kanye, who - sold merch with swastikas - said on Alex Jones that he idolizes Hitler - tweeted he was "going Defcon 3 on Jewish people" is currently on a multi-city tour of NFL stadiums

New: Macklemore says Robert Kraft — who owns Gillette Stadium, where Macklemore & Ed Sheeran were to perform later this month — called Sheeran. Kraft rallied other owners together behind an ultimatum for Sheeran: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you won't be allowed in our venues.

I'm not sure how to start this. So I'm going to speak from the heart and share the truth. Ed Sheeran and his team have made the decision to remove me from The Loop tour.
But before I get into it, I want to say something that should be obvious. In this moment I think it matters. I am not a victim. Ed Sheeran is not a victim. Pink is not a victim. We have careers, money, opportunities, safety and audiences around the world. Whatever consequences any of us face for what we say, we get to go home to our families.

The victims are the Palestinian people. The men, women and children who have been killed, starved, displaced and forced to live through unimaginable violence. More than 20,000 children have been killed in Gaza alone. People are being killed today, and people will be killed tomorrow. I want to make sure that as I tell this story, we don't lose sight of that.

Ed is my friend. I've known him for 13 years. We've shared late nights, studio sessions and stages. He has this infectious magic about him that I've grown to love. I consider him a brother. And because of that, we've had some difficult conversations this past week. The type of talks rooted in love and respect for one another that still end in a place of fundamental disagreement. Nothing I'm writing here is out of spite or because I want to tear down his character. But as I told Ed multiple times on the phone, our friendship can't change my responsibility to tell the truth about what happened.

Last Monday, in the middle of all the media attention surrounding Pink and what I said at MetLife, Ed told me that Robert Kraft called him. We were scheduled to play Gillette Stadium later this month, which is owned by the Kraft Group. Ed told me that Kraft said I would not be allowed to perform in his stadium. Ed also told me that Kraft had rallied some of the other
stadium owners and collectively they gave him an ultimatum: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you will not be allowed to play in our venues.

Thousands of immigrants did the hard, dirty work of clearing rubble and toxic dust and debris from Ground Zero. Many were undocumented laborers sent to work every day with no special PPE, and got cancer as a result. Now some of those same people are living in fear of ICE. www.npr.org/2026/09/11/n...

They cleaned up ground zero. Now many are hiding from ICE

After 9/11, thousands of rescue and cleanup crews went to work at ground zero. They were exposed to toxic debris and experienced psychological trauma. Today, many say they live in fear of deportation.

Republican Rep. Ashley Hinson, running for the Senate in Iowa, minimizes the war with Iran because it's "thousands of miles away." But two soldiers from Iowa, Maj. Jeffrey O’Brien and Sgt. Declan Coady, died in a March 1 drone strike in Kuwait. Their families' pain isn't thousands of miles away.

Republican Rep. Ashley Hinson, running for Senate in Iowa, claims the Iran war is "thousands of miles away. It is out of sight, out of mind for so many Americans.” (Hinson has defended the war and voted against war powers resolutions.)

I had a boyfriend in college who was from outside of Dallas. He's Jain. His grandparents were from India. Once some white people followed him and his friends around a Wal-Mart and called them "sand n****rs," mistaking them for Arabs. Racism after 9/11 hit an apotheosis of stupidity and cruelty.

sikhs were beat up for supposedly being muslim. muslims were branded terrorist cells. democrats were sent anthrax and called pro-terrorist for opposing invading iraq. this post-9/11 unity you always hear republicans, democrats and the media talking about NEVER HAPPENED.
