@davidshoebridge.bsky.social We have similar issues in Australia In Melbourne our water bills have been messed up ,delayed, late and multiplied. We were sent a bill for the whole year rather than the quarter all the while increasing for no real benefit Essential services should be nationalised

We need more articles in defence of the massive, positive contribution immigration has made to Australia. A contribution that will become all the more essential over this & coming decades. Our prosperity, diversity, hopefully tolerance & humanity all boosted by people settling here. Reject racism

Here's the radical idea nobody wants to discuss: What if an economy requiring endless consumption, endless extraction, endless debt and endless growth on a finite planet isn't experiencing a temporary crisis? What if the economic model is the fucking crisis?!
