Shit like this only reminds me why I hate liberals and will never trust them. Because they talk a good game about human rights but they will throw you to the wolves in a heartbeat for political gain.

the problem with the idea that we have to sacrifice trans people to save everyone else's rights, aside from being astonishingly cruel and cowardly, is it won't save everyone else's rights you'll have to sacrifice another group, and another, and one day you'll remember there was a poem about this

During the 2024 election, liberals like you patiently explained why we had to throw the Palestinians to the wolves for political gain. I said that doing so would only set a precedent allowing Democrats to sacrifice more marginalized groups at home & abroad. Now you want to sacrifice trans people.

A reminder that the “trans lobby” is just trans people going about their lives, and the “fight” being referred to is JK Rowling using her money, power and influence to endorse policy that is killing trans people. I’m amazed she could move to type a new essay with the layers of blood on her hands.

My Tumble inbox is full of public messages like this. I'm never sure what to think of being called cool, but if you'd told 13 year old me "There's a transfemme author who has written a ton of gryphon books in a series with cool bird+cat combos," I'd have begged to know how to become just like her.
