Nine Sols (Red Candle Games, 2024) Metroidvania with an emphasis on precision parrying, strongly inspired by Sekiro. Red Candle's better known for story-heavy horror games (Detention, Devotion), so this was a huge surprise, and it's fantastic. Brutally hard but feels fair and rewarding.
FFFFFFFF. I finally beat Eigong's Phase 3 in Nine Sols and got the golden end, only for Steam Recording to crap out and not record the entire fight and most of the ending :( What a great game! But man, practicing for 3 days to kill the final boss was... a thing. That shit is Sword Saint difficulty.
