Nonprofit landlords who opposed temporary pre-eviction notice extensions are contributing to increased eviction filings in Hennepin County: Aeon & Alliance Limited Partnership (LP associated w/ Aeon) each filed 5 evictions yesterday. Appears they're responsible for ~41 filings in just March alone.

Fateh: yes. proudly endorsed by SEIU. Minneapolis is a union city. our workers deserve livable wage, healthcare, good contracts. workers deserve the truth from the city - this is an advisory body, not a decision making one. don't lie to business owners about that.

Born and raised in Los Angeles County, David Huerta is a champion for justice and a good neighbor. Today, while advocating for his community during an ICE raid, he was injured and arrested. These raids are dangerous for our families and communities. They are unjust and must end.

Let’s be clear: ICE injured and detained the president of SEIU California for peacefully observing. ICE picked the wrong side. The wrong state. The wrong person. and the wrong union. David Huerta stood up. And now 750,000 SEIU workers are standing up behind him. seiuca.org/press-releas...

BREAKING: A federal judge blocks Trump from stripping hundreds of thousands of federal workers of their union rights. The White House tried to end collective bargaining for workers at numerous agencies by invoking national security. A U.S. District Judge just shot them down.

Yall ten years ago: why would a bunch of faculty ever need a union (sigh) we are not factory workers I hate unions blah blah deadweight loss blah blah Today: the furher says the university has to fire anyone who says anything bad about him I hope I dont go to the camps for saying tariffs are bad

The provision of the 14th amendment that the Supreme Court unanimously wrote out of the constitution existed for a reason. Its drafters knew what would happen if you allowed insurrectionists back into power.

Today the UMN board of regents is considering whether to adopt a muzzling resolution, forbidding academic units to speak out on issues without explicit presidential pre-approval. Blue states continuing to surrender instead of defending us.

Thanks to Regents Bo Thao-Urabe, Robyn J. Gulley, and Mary Turner for voting to delay a vote and, when that failed, against the plan to censor academic units @UMN. Shame on the others.

After taking unprecedented (illegal) access to federal data systems, DOGE has found basically no substantial waste, fraud, or abuse. They've lied a lot but come up quite empty in reality.
