But it's actually because the father was charged with beating and threatening to kill the teen and the mother was charged with witness intimidation.
Please clap: was able to disassemble the kid's Switch 2 down to removing the motherboard (not easy! iFixit score on this thing is... 3?) in an attempt to fix a broken USB port, and everything worked exactly the same on reassembly! The bad news, the port failure isn't mechanical, so still no go :(

An entire roster of tech tycoons responded by each personally giving him $1 million for his open source software project, even though he’s already wealthy enough to have a personal race car team.
It's so funny that Mamdani is doing *exactly* what the abundance types are calling for -- competent government in service of constituents' quality of life -- but they can't embrace him because their billionaire donors hate Muslims.

There’s lots of hand-wringing about people being principled in not supporting candidates who will not stand by basic human rights for trans people, a point they wouldn’t concede just a few years ago. I have a simple solution: support killing dogs instead. Some people don’t like dogs. Be pragmatic.
