THE PERFECTION (2018): Sure, it’s an Ameritrash spin on South Korean revenge cinema. But it’s stylish, it’s rambunctious, and it’s got enough split diopter shots to raise Orson Welles from the dead. I love this film unabashedly.

The stealth mechanics are fun, and the sound design is extraordinary — but even I need a little bit more narrative than I’ve been getting. Might redeem itself on the back end, but for now, it’s a bit of a slog.

Bought a membership to @filmadelphia.org just because I wanted early access to Philadelphia Film Festival tickets for THE CYCLE. Also, I supported a cool organization, but it’s mostly the Jordan Downey movie.

I sort of accidentally dedicated October to HELLRAISER. My preorders of the new BOOM! Studios one-shots came in, I've got a copy of HELLRAISER: REVIVAL waiting for me to play (once I finish SILENT HILL: TOWNFALL), and I've decided to embark on my first full series watch, just for kicks.
Took a little longer than expected but I love Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival. It feels damn good to get a horror IP game that isn't just a slasher (i like those but c'mon). Everyone forgets that Hellraiser was a romance movie at its core, and this game GETS IT. My review:
