The National Archives' branches are hugely important for the legal community. The most important reason is that they serve as the archives for US district and circuit courts. Sometimes, the only way you can get copies of original case filings is from regional archives b/c not everything is on PACER.

I wish someone had told me when I was younger that adults don’t actually have their shit together and everyone is still just a kid who’s faking it.

One of the best classes I had as an undergrad was one on African geography. It was just meant to be kind of a way to get 2 quick credits but I learned SO much in that class that’s still helpful decades later.
