A human concept artist would absolutely explore those questions with you (AND MORE) before working on the piece if you let them - you just didn't let them because you "needed to see something" because you don't want to (or can't) use your imagination.

This is why I hate "just a tool" so so so much. You can make a calculator without access to every calculation. You can make photoshop without access to all photos. Someone show me a genai tool that didn't require all of our labour in its production. It's plagiarism software.
