I can't imagine the Tetris rightsholders are a larger company than Hasbro, but just the threat of a lawsuit from them was enough to get the White House to take down their racist Tetris clone. If you won't even threaten to sue the fuckers when you more than have the ability, you grant permission.

Studios and networks have become overly cautious and no longer will invest in another season until they have all the data from season 1, which is an even worse problem when it comes to animation because animation can take around a year to produce! It leads to giant gaps and declining viewership.

A new report from Luminate has found that long gaps between seasons of streaming TV shows are leading to major losses in viewership. More than a 1 year gap is seen to largely cause a significant loss in viewership. (Source: luminatedata.com/reports/2026...)

Clearly the premise should be about the Muppets, who run Disney, unable to decide on which direction the new series should take, throwing bits of paper in the air and we get to see all the 'failed' versions that couldn't air for whatever reason. Easy, done.
