i hope this is a wake-up call for the people on here entrenching themselves on one side or the other. the democrat, whoever it is, must beat Mike Rogers. That's the only thing that matters after today.
eh I think a lot of people are confused just because a lot of MAHA used to be hippie-dippie stuff but then there was a time when that described the homeschool movement as well, but that doesn’t mean the current crop of homeschoolers are worth pursuing.
The richest person in the world, an avowed white supremacist, today again posted "the next step is getting rid of 'source code' entirely and just making an efficient binary directly with AI" because he has no idea how anything works, not even the basics of industries he is in.
I'm a little skeptical about this. I think some people will get real worried about winning the general tho

We can't solve a housing crisis without building more housing. Today we broke ground on the Casanova Residence, which will soon be nearly 100 affordable and supportive homes with on-site services for New Yorkers. Every new home is a step toward a City that everyone can afford.
This is a wild view of American society, shades of Trump's apocalyptic "American Carnage." In truth, Cincinnati is a very nice city. The rust belt has had problems, but it's better across the board than it was a decade ago.

I think 2027 HR1 should be the No Man Above the Law Act. It should clarify that the president does not have absolute immunity, and it should provide a clear legal path for consequences when federal agents commit crimes of any kind.
I think there is a distinction that Tom elides between being an asshole in general (agreed, don’t want Dems like that) and being an asshole specifically towards the Republican assholes who need aggressive pushback, and a lack of the latter is interpreted by voters as a weakness and lack of fight.
I feel like the “you don’t know what’s in his heart about his kids” is basically just saying “Vance might not actually believe the things he’s saying, he might just be pretending to be awful for political reasons”. And, yea, maybe? That’s still awful, and I’m still going to hold him accountable
"It's crazy to be racist against your own kids" isn't "over the line" it's actually the correct and decent thing to say
this is extremely good, not because I think Harris is likely to be the nominee again but because this is how expanding the Court becomes table stakes for everyone who wants to run for President

This is not the first time people have pointed out Vance’s hypocrisy on this issue, but to pull his children into it and say that you somehow know what’s in Vance’s mind about his own kids is over the line.

I think we should talk about ending plain-clothes policing as a thing. Guys in hoodie and masks seizing people on the street is very, very bad. Whatever benefit we get from normal plain-clothes policing isn't worth this. Let's draw a bright line: LEOs must be uniformed and badged.
