It's bc Taco Bell is REALLY GOOD at tracing product! Keeping track of exactly where they got their ingredients, & exactly what restaurants each shipment of ingredients went to!

There's a type of parasocial attachment that doesn't get talked about where people latch on to a game (Star Citizen and Zomboid are two great examples) and hook up their dopamine system to whether they feel the devs are or are not making the game specifically for them. Bethesda gets it a lot, too.
