I can’t get enough of Count Binface. As miserable as everything has become, a man with a bin for a head promising to build one affordable house is what I need in my news feed. That he’s made such a joke of Farage is just the cherry on top.

Count Binface, the one credible candidate.

Okay. This is a big deal for me Three years ago, writer Henry Bean told me he had a short story he'd finished in 2020, which he felt needed to be published He'd been turned down everywhere I read it I was stunned I took it to @jewishcurrents.bsky.social It's up now, and it will change you:

Absolutely wild how right-wing commentators and politicians are just completely ignoring the attempted pogrom in Belfast. Families with kids rescued from homes set on fire. And these same people who smear peaceful protests against genocide as hate marches say NOTHING

I've been a broken record on this for three years and I'll be a broken record for as long as that fucking website exists: X is a viciously racist far-right organising platform that ONLY WORKS because a huge number of centrists, lefties and progressivs cannot stop propping it up

Elon Musk accused of fuelling unrest after Belfast knife attack

The use of social media in planning violent protests over the Belfast knife attack has drawn condemnation, with Britain's ruling Labour Party accusing Elon Musk of stoking divisions. The tech billiona...

Sick of "legitimate concerns". "I'm scared of black people" isn't a "legitimate," it's just racism. "LGBT people make me irrationally angry" isn't "legitimate," you just fear difference. It's not legitimate to wish you lived in a country with only people who are exactly like you.

It’s a pretty weird week when a guy who wants to be a trillionaire is simultaneously getting headlines for the economy-shattering IPO expected Friday and the racist pogroms he is accused of stoking — but these stories are viewed as separate and in no way connected or prescient of the future.

There’s an increasingly scary question as to whether certain Labour MPs are merely ill-advisedly pandering for votes, or if they’ve become so mired in a toxic social media information ecosystem that they’ve actually fallen prey to far-right radicalisation.

It is now openly irresponsible for UK politicians and Government institutions to continue using Twitter/X as their primary communication platform. There should instead be serious conversations about banning it.

X owner Elon Musk has reposted his Sept 2025 call that pre-emptive inter-ethnic violence (civil war) is necessary for 'self-defence "Elon Musk was always right "You either fight back, or you die."

The scenes we saw in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ayr last night are unacceptable. Scotland is a welcoming nation and those who choose to make their lives here are valued members of our communities. Racism, hatred and intimidation have no place in Scotland. We must stand against it.

British government: good golly gosh we understand and agree with the legitimate concerns of the pogrommers but my goodness we must all come together and to our racist ethnic cleansing with Dignity and Respect through boring bureaucracy
