Got laid off in April 2020, right after my office went fully remote, by waking up to a meeting that hadn’t been on my calendar the day before.

I am an AOC fan, but the political solution to MAHA is not to try to win them over into our coalition but to make their grifts and spreading of medical misinformation illegal. Our healthcare system needs fixing, but conspiracy-addled MAHA supporters offer no rational way forward.

Paul Ryan would put out budgets that had giant detailed tax cuts and then just hand waved spending cuts away as something that committees would need to figure out. He was never a serious person.
