A piece of extra advice, especially for any young professional: Don't tie your passion to your occupation. Your passion is for you and you alone. If you're fortunate, you'll work a job you enjoy, but it shouldn't be the core source of your artistic/creative drive. Not in this economy.

Here I am to once again encourage artists to search for positions outside the usual games, TV/Film, and advertising spaces. The job market is still horrendous at the moment, but you're doing yourself a grave disservice if you're not seeking out the more niche areas of CG/Animation. (1/3)
