I say without hyperbole that this is the most brazenly corrupt action in US Presidential history. That it does not immediately lead to impeachment is a dangerous sign of how far the rule of law has declined.
Any sensible Dem 2026 campaign should focus on anti-corruption (among much else) because even non-political folks I think are aware of Trump and his family’s/cronies theft of billions. One of the most corrupt leaders in world, not just US history.

This is not an exaggeration. Alex Jones is allegedly bankrupt but has an infinite well of dark money to pay lawyers, sell pills, and harangue judges and the parents of dead kids. This stay must be lifted so we can take over, and I hope journalists look into where he's getting and stowing his money.

A useful analogy I’ve heard is between cognitive bias and optical illusions. Squares A & B in the famous Adelson Checkerboard Illusion are exactly the same shade of grey. You can confirm this by cutting them away from or covering the surrounding imagery. BUT YOU STILL SEE THE ILLUSION.
