I think Democratic Socialists are winning primaries for the same reason Trump won in 2024. Namely, neither party has dealt with the massive problem of runaway wealth inequality. And the DS's are running on it. With Trump, I think fed-up voters just said, "Fuck it, let's burn this house down."
Why did Trump really win? It's simple, actually.

Jessica Luther@jessicawluther.com · 20h agoWell, I am of colonoscopy age now and I got my first-ever one yesterday. The prep wasn't fun but not as awful as I'd imagined. My appt was at 6am on Monday, I was home just after 7am. There's no recovery except catching up on the sleep you missed. So, if you need a nudge to get yours, this is it!
All you have to do is listen to the guy and a million red flags go up. There is zero concern for his daughter. Just tossing blame. A normal parent would be visibly upset and would stop at nothing to find out who hurt her.
