Normally when I order a pizza it's breakfast and lunch for the next day but I've just housed an entire chicken and bacon pizza in about twenty minutes and don't even feel full. Pretty sure this is just normal behaviour for a human body and I won't question it further

I regret to inform you that the latest Yank/British beef is a yank blaming us for the concept of people being anti-vax. There's an argument that Wakefield was British so there's a nugget of truth there but when you point that out they just go "lol who? Y'alls don't even season y'alls food"

I wrote the scene with some help from @interfaceleader.bsky.social who reminded me that when you're stuck, always default back to the character's perspective. I now have a scene that's both more beautiful and way more sad than I intended, and I never had to describe a building once

Having to write description always makes me crash out of a story. It never feels good enough, accurate enough, or authentic enough. But when it does it always seems boring. It always completely disrupts my flow

Like I can't stress enough that this tension is at the heart of everything and if you try and get round it your analysis is going to fall apart. You need wages to live. The people who own everything don't want to pay you. That's it. Everything else is commentary.
