We're back to the Administration using two weeks as their timeline for all their "decisive" actions which will be followed by "two or three days" to get a decision that the other party will be "begging for". Next up: bombing for infrastructure week.

As I've said before: What high-paying long-term jobs do they pretend exist here? A data center isn't a place where execs come and do Big Deals. Go to the server room at your workplace; are there lots of rich people in there spending money?

There are only three possible futures: a) everyone in the Trump admin goes to jail, rule of law partially restored; b) Dems retaliate in full, and maybe that's a deterrent; c) neither (a) nor (b), so lawless authoritarianism wins again, and when Republicans regain power they ramp it up even more.

You’d never hear the end of it. Centrists are the ones who are dividing the Democratic Party with their Islamophobia and purity tests.
And then what? You give them a(nother) beating, then what? US foreign policy today isn’t pursuing national interest. The White House priority is putting on a show for the audience at home that finds domestic abuse personally appealing, and fantasizes that bluster and war crimes is strength.

I honestly wonder how long things like this can drag on where evil people publicly don’t pay what they owe with no consequence, until the average person decides there’s no point in paying off their credit card, line of credit, loan, etc. The whole system is a house of cards.
