I can't overemphasize how chaotic the 2e Dark Sun rollout was. The original boxed set presented a status quo, the very first novel dramatically changed that status quo, and the first adventure (this one) happened around the events of the novel. And from there on out, the boxed set was outdated.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. Anyway, oldest needs his tonsils out and asked the doc what happens to them. Doc explained that they essentially get liquefied (broken down with plasma), and then saw oldest's Star Wars book and made the connection. Now oldest is excited and asked if we could do the surgery today. I love smart docs!

Did you know that they can use a cold plasma tool (cutter?) to remove one's tonsils? Did you know that Kylo Ren's lightsaber has plasma exhausts? Did you know that means the doc is basically using a tiny lightsaber to do the removal? Did you know telling the kid this will alleviate their anxiety?
