Detroit: Passed a millage which will increase bus service about 5-10% over the next 2 years. Seattle: Expanding transit with extended hours on 34 lines and three new ones, 2 run 21 hours a day, without cutting lines. Portland: We're slashing transit because Tri-Met management needs a new Mercedes.

Just wanna caution everyone posting about the Spokane fires that an arrest is not a conviction and if we look at LA they haven’t been able to convict that guy.

Republican power grabs in Kansas and Missouri are going down in flames with 18-25% of votes reported so far. Missouri's Amendment 4 aimed to make citizen-initiated constitutional amendments practically impossible. Kansas' Amendment 1 was designed to flip the state Supreme Court to ban abortion

Abdul El-Sayed is outperforming his benchmarks in every county reporting so far, though all are areas where he was expected to run well. Unless Stevens significantly overperforms in the Detroit area, this is set to be an early night.
