My late dad taught history at Cal State Fullerton for over 35 years, I asked ChatGPT about a Harlan Ellison short story and the AI claimed Ellison never wrote it. I had the book open to the story right in front of me.

reminds me of the day I walked into class about 18 months ago & learned that the university where I was teaching had just launched its own gen AI platform & was encouraging students to use it. The call is definitely coming from inside the house
