Yes we should, but also, Aussie horror like Leviticus does poorly at the Australian box office. A film like Penny Lane is Dead has also failed at the box office. It's one thing to make films that service an international market, but it's another to try and get Aussie audiences to them.

This is part of a much bigger problem with Australian films. Nobody turns up to them. And honestly, why would you? Penny Lane is Dead screened at film festivals. Had great turnout there. But it launches on Shudder in the US soon. So, a lot of people will just VPN and access it that way.
