CNN is reporting munitions shortages influenced Trump’s decision to cancel the large-scale attack on Iran. Nothing to do with impending talks. It seems Trump has left the US in no position to fight a war.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent who manages somehow to say the dumbest things in a dumb administration: “We've seen Trump, last week, threaten what would have been the largest military campaign since World War II against the Iranians, and now, because of that, we are in talks with the Iranians. 1/

"I believe that news should be based on facts and truth." Buddy, you put a person atop yr other news org who has zero news or TV experience, is trying to force administration talking points & lies into coverage, & is hiring inexperienced &/or incompetent leaders. UNEARTHED AUDIO: Todd Blanche, Trump's nominee for Attorney General, is working to ban abortion in "every single state." Republicans in the Senate just voted to advance Blanche's nomination out of committee.

I love the "what abouting" in the responses to this because it shows people haven't paid attention to things like the book detailing how the same guys who were employed by the tobacco industry to lie about tobacco use and cancer got employed by oil companies to do the same for climate change.

Fascinating change in BBC news bulletins about Reform. Farage announcement on small boats only gets the third spot and is balanced by critics saying he's trying to distract from allegations over his finances. Quite the change from the uncritical coverage earlier this year.
