Live and let live. Kindness matters. There is no Planet B. Love animals, don’t consume them or their products. No time for hyperbolic hatefulness or black and white thinking. Please don’t DM me, I don’t want to offend by not responding.
Ms Tawny this morning. First photo taken at 6.40am, second one taken at 7.28am - that sunlight on her face…she seems to be really savouring it!

I don't know who created this gem, but it encapsulates a great deal about this argument.
Happy International Day for Biodiversity! Acting locally means personal actions, let's consider our choices and their impact on the earth: what we consume, supply chains, what we eat, how we travel, who we vote for. You and I are part of this. www.cbd.int/biodiversity... #BiodiversityDay #nature

There's a Boobook Owl on my street! This is the first time I've ever seen an Owl on my street (though the neighbours have dragged me out in my pyjamas previously to see Frogmouths #NotAnOwl). The Currawongs, BF Honeyeaters, Noisy Miners, and Grey Butcherbirds are all going nuts which is how I knew.
A tiny human (2?) wearing a bike helmet and a no-nonsense frown is standing in the doorway of a supermarket. Very seriously directing people to where she thinks they should go. It seems a lot of people need to be buying apples today! (2)

Going back through my photos from this morning. That strut!! #birds #birdsofbluesky
I love it when shops come with cats - this is a strange little place I walked past in Italy with a window display featuring one stuffed and one very alive feline … along with a very random assortment of other detritus
Went to a bookshop which, at first, appeared to be overseen solely by a cat. Bought a pile of old books. Can a Saturday technically be any better?
As Bob Hawke so eloquently put it, we’re all boat people really.
