The origin of this exchange is someone telling me I should be killed and have my corpse mutilated. Another commenter thought that the corpse mutilation was excessive but that I should nevertheless be killed. A third commenter agreed.

Honestly just want to meet some of these people in person and read their own posts out loud to them to see their faces, and ask them what goes on in their brains when they type this shit

Alan Elrod Personally I think that's bad
quoting a post by someone who says "I was with them until the corpse mutilation"
Lydia Diane responding to alan: ikd. CEO of a think tank. Nothing would be lost.

Alan: I have a family!

Lydia: So do lots of people who actually matter and contribute to society

I mean, DSA had the literal words "abolish USAID" in their official policy platform for the 2024 election cycle. You want to talk about a "sick, blood-thirsty" mass murder culture, maybe check out what the body count already is from implementing that policy. And how entirely predictable it was.

Ummm…if Dems get a trifecta, at a *bare minimum* they’ll expand Medicaid under the ACA which would immediately provide Medicaid coverage to 70,000 Wisconsin residents (while also saving the state tens of millions of dollars per year).

The Trump administration just made it official: it's demolishing the US's shell company registry, and destroying all of the data it already collected. A disaster for US anti-corruption efforts.

Seeing Hong supporters go from “remember we need to vote blue no matter who because it’s important to beat Tom Tiffany” to “I’ll hold my nose and vote but both sides are terrible” is just so predictable. You really don’t have to express your disdain as a subtle form of voter suppression.

She’s the current active Lt. Gov & was endorsed by the DFL. The headline reaching is past ridiculous. Say what you actually mean instead of subbing in “establishment”.

I've been saying! People pushed the whole "he's inevitable" bit *hard*. And it formed a consensus *long* before most people were paying attention. Which really rubbed me the wrong way after they pulled the *opposite* re: Biden in July of 2024.

So there's a pretty damn good chance that if Mills hadn't dropped out in Maine this could have been her and Platner on election night too, just making sure we're all clear on that.

Iran issues extensive list of demands to reopen Hormuz: -End US blockade -US forces out of area -End sanctions -Unconditionally release all frozen Iranian assets -Pay war reparations Even as maximal position to be negotiated down, Iran being in this position highlights how badly Trump screwed up.

Oh yeah...in her formal statement, which failed to congratulate Jeremy (of course), she also referred to him as a "corporate shill." Jeremy has received a total of $16,000 in "corporate PAC" funding...again, out of $1.5 MILLION in funding...$5,000 of which was from the BASF *EMPLOYEE* PAC.

It's worth noting that AIPAC's total contribution to Moss's campaign was literally $1,000...out of over $1.5 million total raised, or 0.067%. Farooqi used this to smear him as an "Israel first, AIPAC powered" candidate. Oh yeah...he happens to be Jewish, quelle surprise.

Speaking of "coming together" post-primary here in Michigan, this is the reaction to the outcome of the MI-11 Democratic primary (Haley Stevens' current House seat) by winner Jeremy Moss's top opponent. It doesn't exactly scream "unity."

It has been the honor of my life to raise my voice against Israel’s genocide and your blood money which is used to buy our elections.

And I will continue to speak out against genocide and injustice, from Gaza to Sudan and beyond.

#FUCKAIPAC

This isn’t over.
