That Joshua Bonehill-Paine is a suitable Tory candidate but Grant Shapps and Gavin Barwell have been excluded is quite a good indicator of how many seats the Tories will realistically regain at the next election.

I'm tired of the UK news media. 15 minutes ago, watched SKY News, which I rarely do. What do I see?. There's a crises in the Prison Service!. There's a migrant crises!. This's by word of mouth & their. There's no 'crises' in either the prison service, or migrant crossings. This's low grade pap.

Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.

Ok-on the bus Somebody was playing shite music loudly on their phone. Pissed off- I put my headphones in and cranked up Tay-Tay to drown them out. Half a song later, it occurs i hadn't BT connected the headphones, and as a hairy 55 year old, i was just blasting Taylor Swift to everyone on the bus😬

This is misleading. If you say the Rhine’ s “water levels drop to lowest level since 1880,” that implies that the river was this dry in 1880. But 1880 is just when we started keeping records! So what you need to say is: the river is at its lowest level since records began.

Badenoch, whether she understands this or not, isn't simply raising a question about whether 2030 or 2040 would be better targets for Net Zero, she's signalling that the Tories are very much the party for people who think that climate change is made up.

The picture on the front of Reform's policy is of HMS Ocean on the River Thames in 2012. It was sold by to the Brazilian navy in 2018. Turns out you can judge a book by its cover.

"I said it's a bold move by Reform to use the Navy to return migrants. What did I say Roy?" "You said it's an unworkable load of bollocks designed to win back some racist numbskulls from Rupert Lowe and distract attention from Farage's £5m bung"

The Today programme parroting Reform talking points unexamined might be the big legacy of these poison-toad columnists. “It’s just what ordinary people are saying.” Yeah: and why are they saying that? Who started it?

When you are defeated in the sense of “unable to achieve your goals” but not defeated in the sense of “unable to continue military operations” then you are perpetually “headed for defeat” until you decide to end it. That’s how you get forever wars.

I'm absolutely furious that facts and information like this are allowed on social media while every Reform MP is working so hard to spread misinformation and lies and stir up our gullible supporters who will believe any old bollocks.

Highly recommended. Drama about the real-life meeting between English double agent Guy Burgess (one of the ring of 5 Soviet agents in British intelligence) & actress Coral Browne. Burgess's sad existence in Russia is brightened up by her visit & also a bespoke suit she orders for him.

Some of the external shots were filmed in Dundee to stand in for Moscow!! . I recall the city square covered in salt to simulate snow and Sovet banners hanging from Dundee’s Caird hall when I was a student 1982/83 …

I was today years old when I found out that actor Michael Dorn is an accomplished pilot who owned an F-86 Sabre in the 1990s. He once ran out of fuel and made an emergency landing at a military airfield. The base commander agreed not to tell the FAA in return for autographs and two low level passes…

Actor Michael Dorn, in green flight overalls, taking a knee in front of an F-86 Sabre, a swept-wing single engine jet fighter with a distinctive nose air intake. The aircraft is in natural metal finish with US Air National Guard markings.

I want the new changes in regional devolution to benefit the entire West Midlands. I spoke recently about one redevelopment, which is an example of the difference it will make to the people who live here.
