A conspiracy theory that "The Real IRA" are coming out of retirement, joining forces with Loyalist paramilitaries to ethnically cleanse Northern Ireland of migrants is doing the rounds on social media. And like would yis ever cop yourselves on.

An armed group declaring themselves as the 'New Republican Movement' have issued a Warning to Irish
Politicians:
"You have Flooded our communities with Military Age Men we will not sit back and watch our culture and religion
Destroyed by the people we put in power."

I think you'll find out that the real IRA will make some announcements. They will not allow

Just another casual reminder that you’re being laughed at by corporates because a) governments facilitate them and b) we don’t push back. Cost of living crisis, for you not for them.

Bild

just a reminder the cathaoirleach of the AI committee has stock in a AI-based revenue intelligence company. Naoise insists the stock – whose value is only realisable if the company goes public – is not a conflict of interest for him as a TD forming AI legislation www.ontheditch.com/fianna-fail-...

AI committee FF TD has stock in IDF-vet-founded AI company

It was co-founded by a man who “conducted classified intelligence work” for the Israel Defense Forces.

They don't consider fans or even players to be their constituency and they're resentful that they have to act like they are. They are interested only in staying in the good graces of UEFA. In this way they mirror the government

It's so infuriating that the same media who constantly & incessantly lie about my community, who say we are a threat to other women & children, try ban us from toilets, sports & healthcare, will simultaneously & shamelessly eulogise a bunch of dead nonces & misogynists while silencing their victims.

Jesus, reading the replies to that post about Tice, and the amount of people falling over themselves to claim "Its not normal, reforms not normal" It's the # 2 party in your country mate wtf are you talking about. I hate FFG but I'm not sticking my head in the sand pretending nobody supports them

It's true that Tice isn't a big deal (although he is an MP) and that The Telegraph isn't admired for its journalism. We could spend all day minimising it. But it's fair to say if a TD made a remark like this about Britain, it would be a big story and consequences would be expected.

I think we're generally much too chill about how mainstream and normal this weird, obsessive anti-Irish stuff is in the UK. #speirgorm

Richard Tice quoting a telegraph headline about Ireland being Europe's most ridiculous country.

Like, the sheer amount of energy put into gestures of remediation on this island, and being careful not to make people feel awkward about things there were even complicit in maybe, and then your average British pol is just casually like, "ha ha stupid paddies"

That's what taxes are, man. That's the definition of taxes. "You are subsidizing things you might never use" man shut the fuck up. My taxes currently subsidize like oil company exec private jets, you think I'm upset at low-income people eating inexpensive bananas?

Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.

Haters focusing on Liddle's violence toward his pregnant partner, his galloping racism, or his repeated defences of paedophilia, should remember to mention he was also one of the worst writers to ever do it. A calorie-free hack of the first water. Just absolute dogshit, back to front.

Rod liddle had a police caution for domestic violence against his then pregnant girlfriend. He once wrote in one of his columns that he could never be a teacher because his urge to rape children was too strong. He is now dead. Obviously no kipper for him.

This massive push for teenage social media bans comes as the EU have issued findings against several major platforms directly relating to their platform's impact on children's wellbeing. A social media ban for under-16-year-olds would solve a lot of regulatory headaches for Big Tech platforms.

Meta Faces Up to 6% Global Turnover Fine as European Commission Confirms Instagram and Facebook Breach Digital Services Act on Minors - Press Review

Social media bans cannot be effectively enforced, and come with profound implications for everyone's human rights. Nevertheless the EU and Irish government seem hell bent on pushing through similar legislation here, without presenting a shred of evidence that such a ban will have a positive impact.

Australia’s eSafety commissioner buried a report (released Friday afternoon) that shows the under 16 social media ban didn’t tangibly reduce teen social media use, and also resulted in parents tuning out of kids usage. We traded our privacy for no reason. theconversation.com/more-than-80...

A reminder that this legislation was passed at Final Stage by 129 votes to 10, with every political party bar Ind. Ireland supporting. This headline shows: > Enormous over-reach by officialdom on an unequivocal democratic mandate, > The craven backtracking of FFG in this gvt on climate action.

IT front page article headline, reading 'Officials proposed scrapping lynching of climate law'.
