I have previously made this observation and I often imagine trying to explain it to Ms Farrant. First you'd have to explain who Terry Nation is, then Blake's 7, a TV show last broadcast 15 years before she was born, and then how many times variations on the name 'Tarrant' appear in his work...

I once sat in a pub beer garden during festival time in Edinburgh, and the time I was there coincided with the audience from a Jimmy Cricket show spilling out and into the pub grounds. I swear, you never saw such a silly, delighted, just downright *happy* bunch of people. Not a bad old epitaph.
Jimmy Cricket : truly one of the nicest men in this business. Daft as a brush on stage (and able to be cross generational in his appeal) but so warm and kind and generous and supportive off it. He also has a lovely family of good people. Ah this is so sad. RIP Jimmy.

Finished ‘The Ribos Operation’ by Ian Marter as I wondered why it needed a reworking as part of that new compilation for the Key to Time. It is a bit weird, the Doc keeps calling Romana ’my dear’, at one point Unstoffe calls Garron ‘daddyo’. A few nice touches, eg the Graff making scorpions fight
