We need a lot less “When I went through X it was ugly and brutal, but I survived, and made me strong!” and a lot more “When I went through X it was ugly and brutal, and no one else should ever have to suffer like that, how do we fix it?”
The tell with all of this is your kids can be taught by sex bots dressed up like John Oliver, but the tech barons send their kids to schools where they don't allow phones and there is an art AND music teacher.

I believe it was @eringloriaryan.bsky.social who once said to me, maybe a decade ago, that the stock market is astrology for boys. This headline, published three hours ago before Iran said "you either get to bomb Lebanon or you get sub-$10 gas," has done nothing but confirm that. It's all vibes.
