I hear from so many folks about how much AI they are being "encouraged" to use in the workplace and I fucking despair. I don't use that shit to do my research, I don't ask it questions about how to deal with interpersonal questions, and I don't "vibe" any task. It's not actually hard to NOT DO.

Watching a summer climate we've never had before. These days: sth sth monsoon edition The humidity is at 68-73% nearly all the time, it's hot and I just "cooled" down my room to 25°C at 7am. It's hard to breathe this air and I wonder whether I'll develop gills. And suddenly water fell from the sky

I wonder, Doctor, if I could ask you the question and Counsel could forebear, and we'll grant they have a continuing objection. Do you not agree with me there is some internal inconsistency in interpreting the Treaty of 1836 to include a reservation or reservations for five years or perhaps somewhat longer for those areas that are most important to the Indians, to include for at least those Indians living south of the Straits of Mackinac an obvious intention that those Indians will be removed from Michigan, with an interpretation of Article 13 which reserves to those Indians a perpetual right to fish in the Great Lakes in those areas which were not as of as great importance to the Indians as those that were reserved for a lesser period of time? Do you find any inconsistency there? A. I find that question so convoluted and loaded that I couldn't answer it unless it was written out phrase by phrase. I don't -- I've read this Ireaty, I don't find any . . . I don't comprehend the intemal inconsistencies which seem to have been so • forcibly impressed upon your mind

When making contiguous shoulder sweaters, I have struggled with the increasing on every row leaving holes. I went to look on Ravelry and found this technique! I've not really seen it mentioned anywhere so I figured to post it here to hopefully help someone else too! Links in comments! 🧶 #knitsky

I have been thinking about the difference in charity and gift giving lately. Somehow i've kind of grown to not really like the word charity. Obviously it carries with it a lot of baggage and not all of it is good. It often implies a kind of hierarchy of the ones who give and the ones in need.
