Lisa Demuth still refuses to break from Trump – even on his war in Iran. Minnesotans are, literally, paying the price at the pump.
In Minnesota: (1) Applying to be mailed a ballot doesn't change your ability to vote in person. (2) Applying now rather than later means you'll be in the first batch mailed with the least chance of anything preventing it from getting to you in time.

One of the strengths of Minnesota's voting system is the ability to have a neighbor vouch for your eligibility. It helps people vote, and it's NOT a source of fraud. The witness requirements for absentee ballots are similar.

As always, the best advice is to follow the official instructions. The witness can be any U.S. citizen who will be 18 by election day.
You know, I still haven't heard Angie Craig deny that a friend acting as a campaign surrogate visited John Hoffman in the ICU and at his home at her request to seek his endorsement. I have not heard her deny that once.
