And more people can eat it! Gluten free, dairy free, etc. was only for the crunchiest of hippie stores. Now every grocery store stocks them and they taste good! 20 years ago I bought a gluten free cookie and spat it out. Today a gluten free bakery is my favorite treat myself spot.
Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.

The First Clue to an Email Scam May Be the Address - Writer Beware
I doubt that there will be anyone reading this article who hasn’t been targeted by a writing scam. That’s how prevalent and aggressive they are these days. Fraudsters who prey on writers employ a vari...

ive seen some folks lately talkin on NEGATIVE REVIEWS and how to deal with them as authors or artists. personally i have not cared about reviews for several decades. negative reviews do not bother me in the slightest and buds often ask me HOW. ill explain a bit here and why this applies to everyone
"Rosie No. 1" created in 2016 by Brooklyn-based artist Tim Okamura.
the main problem with video as a format is that it's too slow at dispensing information. I can read much faster than you can talk and there's no way you can address this without becoming incomprehensible to most of the audience.
Okay, small rant... One of the big problems with the "art should be free" arguments is it never wants to define what counts as art or--like it or not--how tightly art is tied to business. That's the world we live in. If you're not acknowledging that, you're just a poser. F'r example...

Oh boy howdy yes. Everyone whose publisher failed to register copyright even if, say, they were CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGED TO DO SO, why not let the Authors Guild know? @societyofauthors.bsky.social will you be following this up too?

The AirBNB booked for a weekend vacay seems to be haunted. You & your friends wake up to blood painting the walls reading “stay away” and a possessed knife is now slashing through the walls violent going toward the basement. The one white friend with you suggests y’all check it out. Your response?
We hope this post about orphaned negatives makes you gruntled. An ‘orphaned negative’ is a word that SHOULD feel like it has a related word, but doesn’t. ‘Nonchalant’ is an orphaned negative because there is no ‘chalant.’
It deserves all of this. An amazing book!
A huge congratulations is in order for @marthawells.com on hitting the @nytimes.com, @usatoday.com, AND Indie bestseller lists with #PlatformDecay !🎉 Congrats, Martha, for this well-deserved recognition! And a big thank you to the readers who made this possible!✨

That means my mom would have been 34 before she could have gotten a credit card on her own. The past isn't even past.
I had to look this up. It's TRUE. 😮 Before 1974, banks typically required a father's or husband's signature in order for a woman to open a credit card account. HOLEEEE SHIT. In my lifetime?!! The patriarchy really sucks. #ArtemisII
In honor of Michigan clinching the NCAA here's my multi year goal to capture the full milky way arch over a body of water, taken last July over Lake Superior from a state park in Michigan. 🗺️
I have been queer for as long as I can remember... But I have really only settled into my asexuality within the last decade. Happy International Asexuality Day! We are valid members of the queer community!
