When brainstorming with my kid about what we wanted to do this morning, he suggested we go vote again. We went last week and my husband took him the week before. So I understand him thinking it’s just something we can go and do for fun. If anyone wants a voting buddy to go with you to the polls… ;)

Prohibition paranormal romance in a monster-filled speakeasy in 1931 Seattle — come for the werewolf jazz tunes and the hapless bisexual bard, stay for the magical liquors and seductive-but-deadly siren journalist!

Why does Korea have a holiday for the alphabet? Because unlike other writing systems that evolved over centuries, Hangul was the work of one dude who solved mass illiteracy by sitting down and creating a brand new fully-formed system from scratch that anyone can learn almost instantly.

Happy Hangul Day! It's a Korean holiday honoring the best and easiest alphabet in the world! Everyone in Korea gets the day off work to contemplate it, but it only takes fifteen minutes to learn! So today, learn to read Korean in 15 minutes!

New season of The Adventure Zone announced and… well, I like that it’s a 6-episode miniseries. I hope it’s good (🤞) or if it’s bad, it’ll be entertainingly so and not overstay its welcome.

My husband is thinking of voting early since he’ll be passing by the Plato Building. Pretty sure I’ll be fine if I just tell him which of the school board candidates are DFL-endorsed.
