Robinhood now makes more money from prediction markets than it does from stock trades or crypto. This adds weight to my theory that Bitcoin and crypto has crashed due to competition from Polymarket and Kalshi for the online gambler demographic.

Saying a version of "I don't know" and then outlining the steps you would take *to* know is a nearly-universal requirement for passing your qualifying exams as a PhD student. It was also a requirement for getting hired as a Supplemental Instructor when/where I was an undergrad.

Used properly, following Violet's clear guides, it helps anyone concerned about privacy or de-banking, not just sex workers.

i solved the debate. we co-opt web3, then just call accounts “wallets”. no more “atmosphere” and “internet handle” debate. it’s solved

Major alarm bells over this. Bessent wants US banks to require customers send in copies of their passports etc. to prove citizenship, which would be far beyond the know-your-customer checks that they're required to do already. Implies this could result in closing bank accounts over non-compliance.
