Bad at social media. Bad at bios. In Northern England. Currently making a tragicomic alchemical video game called Chymicalia.

I had ME/CFS in the mid 2010s (and was extremely fortunate to recover from it). It's disheartening to read that folks are still being told to get over it and/or exercise; I sought alternative advice and so stopped going to the gym, which helped. I hope that we can soon ID & treat it properly. 💜

Here's today's column on the astonishing, ongoing mistreatment of people with #ME/CFS. Please spread it far and wide: the only thing which can break the media's wall of indifference is seeing an article about the issue go viral. Thank you. 1/2 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

last night i dreamed that, in a stroke of genius, i had combined slurs to create the ultimate slur, "twaggot". i was laughing so loud in my sleep i woke up both myself and jess

Perhaps a personal failing, but I can't think of many things I love that I would want to see buried and painted over. I can't think of anything I love that I need saved from the context of it's creation. But often I feel like people don't love things. They love the memory of things.

It is easy and comfortable to think, look at this thing we made, we have worked so hard, the hard work is the proof that it is good, people will buy it because they will see we have worked hard and thus made a good thing

when you're promoting an indie game, you need a "why would someone buy this" mentality Not a "why wouldn't someone buy this" mentality If anyone is interested I will try to elaborate

"would mean, for example, that Jewell would not be able to breastfeed in the future" this person is TWENTY NINE YEARS OLD and the BBC is scaremongering about their choice not to breastfeed a baby that they do not have and have given no indication of ever wanting to have

I can’t put into words the fury this reporting fills me with. How more indignity must trans people be spoken be subjected to by our national broadcaster?

This shit is why you can't separate continuing to financially support the Harry Potter IP (whether by buying the games, merch, watching the new TV show when its out) from the consequences of what JK Rowling does with that money She's become so stiflingly powerful that even private docs arent safe

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.

A screenshot of an email viewed in dark mode with the subject line "Google DMCA Violation." The email from Google informs the recipient that they have received a notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) that some of their materials allegedly infringe on copyrights. It explains the removal process, mentions that notice details will be posted on Lumen, warns against repeated violations, and lists one affected Google Drive URL at the bottom

Hi to everyone following from the AI-free indie devs list (yay) or the British narrative games list (embarrassing honestly, we'll try to get through it together) what to expect from me: - aforementioned british AI-free narrative game - trans rights stuff - weird about Morrowind since 2002

Good luck to everyone getting their A levels today and remember, if you don’t get the grades you’d hoped for, all is not lost. For example, Prince Edward got a C and 2 Ds and was immediately accepted by Cambridge University.
