And imo a revealing indictment of the supporters who are still standing with Platner. Buying into a shallow aesthetic of populism at the cost of all else. These are the kind of people they trust.
When i posted this video (in October of 2025) i was accused of working for aipac. Me. A muslim. Who had publicly supported Gazans even while my friends in the industry lost jobs and agents over pro-palestinian content. Pro-aipac AND pro-palestinian was easier to believe than "he's right."

The number of people at the Knicks parade today were roughly equal to the combined population of Wyoming, Vermont, North Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, Montana & Alaska. So if you heard about any issues in NYC today, but not about any crimes in those states, you know the agenda of that media.
Here's my actual true opinion. The only way to fix all of this nonsense is rent affordability and health care . If people can afford the rent and get healthcare, then they can start and go to work for normal businesses, and write and make art and music. And there can be third places, etc etc.

I'm just going to say this once tonight: There are over 30 million people on Texas. As of the last count I saw not even 1 million people had voted for Paxton. Fewer than 7 million voted for Trump in 2024. I'd like to kick all 7 million of them one by one but I'm not writing off all of Texas.

I think maybe more problematically, in many professions, what makes you good is not the same thing as what gives you power, and the people with the power tend to not want anyone around who is so good it highlights certain shortcomings they have.
