Patrick Mahomes is “fun” to watch like it’s fun to see your grandma do the Cupid Shuffle at a wedding. Josh Allen is fun to watch like it’d be fun to see a gorilla riding a rocket ship at a rodeo.
Jordan Love throwing deep is the goofy I’ll do it again meme (complimentary)

Ok, so I wrote the NYT's TV canon-building exercise and why it's interesting that the list ranks the 1st through millionth best gritty lyrical sonofabitch cop shows but not even one Blue Sky procedural. Justice for BURN NOTICE. pjmaciak.substack.com/p/gracie-abr...

Lanterns Said ’Timshel’
Through a coincidence of the TV calendar, two very different series land on the same closing question about human nature.

LANTERNS ends this weekend, and, while it's got wonderful performances and some fun set-pieces, it remains hard not to see it as one of those fake parody prestige series that the Florricks watched on THE GOOD WIFE. 1/x

Good morning! I reviewed the new CARRIE for TV Guide! It’s very good, but makes a choice that I find pretty disastrous at the very end. Gonna be a divisive one! www.tvguide.com/news/carrie-...

In Primetime, she puts on a standout performance as Chris Hansen’s producer. In real life, she prefers the shadows.

rhea seehorn didn’t win for better call saul so vince gilligan was like, what if she was the only character, what now
Vince Gilligan's first writing Emmy counts for Better Call Saul and all of his best X-Files episodes too
There’s 15 minutes left for one award and they played off Rhea Seehorn??
should have filled all those extra minutes by giving Matthew Rhys one more Emmy
Nick Offerman gave one of my favorite performances of the year. oh well
