A grim reminder: these people will never be satisfied. There’s no point at which they will say “we’ve won, let’s enjoy life.” They will always be looking for someone else to punish, to revile, to dehumanize. They’re empty without that.

They want to kill any information source the oligarchs don't control. Free access to information not filtered through their brainwashing algorithms is a threat to their control over their hyperreal simulacrum, even in the limited audience that Bluesky has.

Truly insane post from The Federalist, which includes the recommendation that the government pressure tech companies to limit access to BlueSky because of the reaction to Kirk's death thefederalist.com/2025/09/15/w...

I'd just like to point out how weird it is that places with hundreds or even thousands of reporters — the NYT, WaPo, CBS, NBC, AP, etc. — are all getting pummeled on every major story by the dozen computerboys at Wired. To fumble the bag this consistently is, at some point, cowardice and a choice.

NEW: Metadata from the “raw” Epstein prison video shows approximately 2 minutes and 53 seconds were removed from one of two stitched-together clips. The cut starts right at the “missing minute.”

And Bundy supporters showed up armed to the teeth and were openly sighting in on federal employees. None of this seemed overly troubling to those on the right. Imagine if these images were of LA protestors aiming in on LAPD officers.

When Cliven Bundy and his family occupied federal property and engaged in an armed standoff with federal agents during the Obama administration, Fox News was apoplectic about the outrageous actions of *the government*

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

Here's the thing - I pay $5.80 round trip to get in and out of Manhattan. Duffy isn't asking for freedom, he's asking for me to subsidize the costs of him driving into New York as a taxpayer. He wants a free lunch because he's a special beep-beep vroom-vroom boy.

Duffy: "She wants to take people off the road and she's taxing people to do it, raising money for the subway system in New York. But then, to put people in the subway -- the subway is dirty! There's violence. There's criminals. It's not safe ... By the way, I like freedom. Let me drive my car."

Transportation costs are a huge problem! Housing costs in regions like New York City are, definitely, very high. But transportation costs are much lower! That's what makes it possible for NYC region to have lower overall housing + transportation costs than the Dallas region. htaindex.cnt.org/map/

In the Dallas metropolitan area, housing + transportation costs account for 45% of income, of which 27% is spent on housing and 18% on transportation. In the New York metropolitan area, housing + transportation costs account for 43% of income, of which 30% is spent on housing and 13% on transportation.

Trump supporter Rick Fuze was arrested in Berkeley for using a stun gun on peaceful protesters outside a Tesla dealership. Fuze claimed they were paid protesters and he went there to show his support for Musk and DOGE.

so many of america's problems are downstream of the fact that legacy media elites are infinitely more interested in writing the one same article about some kid at Cornell shouting that toothpaste is racist instead of covering that the SecDef is a member of a rape cult

the basic issue is that hegseth is a violent, monstrous bigot who belongs to a church which nonmetaphorically considers rape sacramental www.politico.com/news/2025/03...

It would be helpful if more people understood renewable energy is actually an extremely disruptive technology and the reason monied interests are trying to make folks hate it is that they are the ones which will be disrupted.

“Those nasty Canadians are ripping us off and are controlled by Mexican cartels. They’re poisoning us with fentanyl and need to become the 51st state or they will pay a high price” is a belief that literally ZERO Americans had six weeks ago. It’s entirely invented from scratch.
