31, neurodivergent, queer, Aussie in the UK, idk what else I've been on the internet for too long, also I'm a children's therapist that will come up sometimes. Use whatever pronouns make the story funnier.

I had a disciplinary investigation at the University of Cambridge years ago - a horrible kafka-esque experience where major depression hit for the first time. All for me beating my internet throttle and embarrassing an IT department after I had to explain to them how it was possible.

As with everything else: they know what they’ve done and they know they are to blame. But they’re superior people - they are so obviously superior, that it never occurs to them to think about exactly how superior they might be - so it must be somebody else’s fault.

The problem with finally trimming all the overgrown garden shit is that while it is very satisfying to see the garden look nicer i am now responsible for all these leaves and branches

I have started a new todo list system where each week if something fills me with a sense of immense dread and guilt it goes on a separate Shame List and as soon as I've done one thing from the Shame List each week I don't have to look at it or think about it again until the following Monday
