We still have the cultural image that actual Nazis were defeated in the 1940's, and the remaining Nazis are either unemployed basement-dwellers or fringe militias in Idaho. There is still a reluctance by media and business leaders to say openly that the world's wealthiest person is a Nazi.

There is one Zionist party that is even theoretically partitionist in any real way and together they and the Palestinian citizen-supported parties are going to win around 20/120 Knesset seats. A supermajority of Israeli Jews love apartheid. It's just what it is.

Also, the US is a signatory to multiple international legal conventions which prohibit the kinds of crimes Netanyahu has indisputably committed, and the Genocide Accountability Act is a US law which enshrines the principle of universal jurisdiction— no need to rely on ICC warrant.

A lot of people on Twitter (and here) like to simultaneously say that international law is less about rules and more about power, and also are now complaining that Mamdani is violating the sanctity of the law by saying he will explore his powers to arrest a man wanted for starving children to death.
