They do this constantly, play up stories about how he’s so angry and furious, like if you’re all so afraid of an old man yelling at you maybe reporting isn’t your ideal job? Of course I know this is all done to make us think he’s powerful and intimidating so we won’t get in his way.
Many more appropriate adjectives are available for use. Hapless. Inept. Bumbling. Incompetent. Oblivious. Floundering.
This would be good if it were true, but seriously? This war started back in February and Trump is JUST NOW trying to understand Iran's motivations?!?!

this is actually my fav part of this whole shitshow, where he argues that he needs to stay in office because of his record in fighting for the people of Ohio by....wait for it....supporting Ukraine and the ACA, both of which his party have been trying to end since day 1

This is what a decade of Trumpism has encouraged -- a GOP gubernatorial candidate in Colorado who's unsure of how many people he's killed but positive that his Jewish opponent is a tool of Satan. These people were in the tent before, but the rest of the party seemed embarrassed about them. No more!

Democratic Gov nominee Phil Weiser is outspoken about his mother’s birth in a Nazi concentration camp, his family members killed in the Holocaust, and the threat posed by antisemitism today.

As I have been saying since ~2015: When in his life has Donald Trump left something—other than his bank account—in better shape than he found it?
I agree with Edsall: Dems should try to win without the support of women, minorities, LGBTQ people, leftists, or people who need/support social services and/or are concerned about gun violence. Surely there's enough rich white straight male reactionary centrist columnists for an electoral majority!

It is odd that everything but the rights of straight white cis men are wedge issues.
Let’s not forget that the strait was open before the war. These guys are trying to claw their way back to zero.

Yes. The idea that backlash politics is an unstoppable force is belied by history.
"don't make enough money" is a fig leaf All those degree programs--social work, art, etc.--have disproportionately female student bodies. This is designed to make it harder for women to attend college--college education being a key factor in women's autonomy from men & left-leaning voting pattern.
