A lot of people don’t realize the dust bowl wasn’t a natural phenomenon. I resent the video-fication of podcasting. That's just a TV show. Podcasts aren't supposed to be for hot people. They have everything else

every time you see a headline that begins with “we have to,” replace the “we” with “you” and you’ll immediately understand the purpose of the piece and the power dynamics at play

I finally figured out why AI causes such a visceral reaction in thinking humans: I am writing my book chapter on PLAY, and AI is the opposite of play. We play for the joy of the process, not for the outcome. Yes it is nice to win, to have the art/ poem, but the point of life is to play.
