The Young Center helps provide kids with counsel. We are walking these miles because no kids should be detained and expected to understand legal proceedings, or contextualize what happened to their parents that has legal impact on their right to be here.

4/ I don’t want to see people becoming so worked up about a future Terminator scenario that we stop thinking about whats already happening: stolen creative property,, invasion of privacy, climate and environmental damage and an increasing inability to read, problem solve and think critically .
3/ Tech companies want us to be focussed on hyperbolic future threats (like extinction) so that the massively destructive things AI is ALREADY doing will seem relatively harmless by comparison and its use (for things other than killer robots) will become normalized.

This is a cool way to support the amazing RNLI. They're called "Betty's 5p pots". You can pick them up at RNLI shops (or you can use a jar of your own!) You collect your 5p's in it & when it's full, you drop it into them and they replace it with a new pot. Just thought i'd mention it.
