making DS mockups for super mario world is really funny because, just because i moved some UI elements from the top screen to the bottom one, it suddenly starts to look like mario maker (it's kinda funny how little use 2D mario tends to have for the 2nd screen. swapping them underground is fun tho)

DS super mario world mockups. during levels, the only UI on the top screen is the coin counter and timer. the bottom screen shows the world map screen at all times (during levels, it gets dimmed and the top part shows your score/lives/dragon coins etc, instead of the level's name). while on the level select, the bottom screen is still the map, while the top screen shows a Zelda ALttP style mode 7-like view of all of Dinosaur Land, with SMW style clouds acting as fog-of-war, covering up unvisited areas

Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

When I left the room it dropped me off at the starting area where you get the morph ball, and when I came back everything was normal and the room didn't reappear again Oh, and here's a screenshot of the item in the inventory

Anyone know what this thing does? Was playing Zero Mission and trying to get the super missiles in Brinstar but the corridor between two vertical tunnels got replaced with this weird tree room that gives you some "egg" power up I've never seen before #deltarune #metroid

Well, there's a Chozo statue here. It is behind the tree. It offers you an Egg.
