I don’t exactly have scientific data to support this, but I firmly believe that the reading experience is enhanced by at least 62% when a pet is sleeping nearby.
As an aside, I love mountain mornings. The bird singing. The insects winding down or starting up. The wind through the trees gently rustling leaves. The chorus of car alarms going off as people walk outside to discover a bear is carjacking them.

Adorable! 2) Momma Black Bear definitely knows what a cargo bag on the roof of a car is. 3) A car alarm will scare a scavenging black bear off the hood of your car in a pinch.
