The tricky part for a future Dem Admin is going to be finding a way to divest the US govt from these companies without tanking their stock price & hurting them over the long term. What Trump is doing is a fundamental tenet of communism while he distracts by claiming Dems are.

I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

Connecting with someone’s “weird weather kid” is one of my favorite parts of being a scientist. It’s really rewarding to share knowledge with young people so excited about science. Shamelessly it’s also pretty cool to be a rockstar in someone’s eyes. Such a sweet story.
