DC's 2025 larceny rate was 41 percent lower than it was in 2019. CVS locks its stuff up because it's a poorly run and failing company looking to blame outside forces for its downfall. you can go across the street to target or a supermarket and see the same products free to grab off the shelves.

Three days before Joe Biden was to be sworn in as president in 2021, Ralph Norman texted Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows: “Our LAST HOPE is invoking Marshall Law!! PLEASE URGE TO PRESIDENT TO DO SO!!” Norman didn’t know how to spell “martial law,” but he was urging a military-backed coup. 2/7🧵

Rep. Ralph Norman, who’s in a Senate runoff with Lindsey Graham’s sister Darline, secretly urged a military-backed coup in 2021 to keep Trump in power. But the NY Times thinks it’s no big deal. In its last 92 stories mentioning Norman over 3 years and 7 months, it hasn’t stated that fact once. 1/7🧵

This supports my theory of long-standing that Trump sees the kind of people the Southern Poverty Law Center investigates as among his most crucial constituencies, because they're the ones who might fight in the streets for him with guns. talkingpointsmemo.com/news/trump-d...

A campaign's job is to make models wrong - especially when the polling shows their candidate being behind. GOTV and voter contact are tools they use to do that. The other option is persuasion. Polling and focus groups are going to show a campaign who is persuadable and how they can be swayed.

Campaigns don't use polling the way you do - they are signposts for a campaign to adjust strategy. As someone following the news, we see polling as some way to predict the future or see who is winning, which misses a lot of information in polling.

David Crowley: "The biggest difference between me and the congressmen is that I'm loyal to the people of Wisconsin. I'm not loyal to MAGA. I'm going to be focused on delivering for the hardworking families here in Wisconsin."

i still see reactionaries say we need a “reckoning” over woke 1 and i truly don’t know what they mean at this point. the right is firmly in power and we get 2 articles a week bemoaning the excesses of wokeness. what else are you looking for?

Groypers, white nationalists, and neo-Nazis sympathizers have infiltrated every level of the Trump administration. They work in DHS. They work in the White House. The ADL has done very little to identify and target these individuals. And yet, they target individual Mamdani staffers. It’s insane.

The ADL has a website dedicated to attacking Mamdani staffers—including my friend Waleed Shahid. The ADL is applying a level of scrutiny to him they aren’t applying to literal neo-Nazis working in the federal government. Waleed has a Jewish wife and child. The ADL is a disgrace.

We expect the Mamdani administration to uphold a simple, non-negotiable standard: no one with a history of antisemitism or hostility toward Jews, Zionists, Israelis or Jewish institutions should be ap...

Women like Neera Tanden, Shannon Watts, and Magdi Jacobs hide behind feminism to be Islamophobic anti arab racists. Haley Stevens wasn’t ”attacked” for being a woman. They aren’t criticized for being women. They’re criticized for making AES to be a scary Arab, while covering for genocide.

The thing that pisses me off most about Royce White is that he was given so many chances for his anxiety and abused the system repeatedly. Royce couldn't fly on planes due to his anxiety. He requested a bus to travel between games. They gave it to him. Then he stopped showing up anyway a month in.

Royce White on Fox News: "I'm just having a blast in my feminine area. I never thought I was a woman. I've always trusted science and thought I was a man, but after further review, a strong look at my personal preferences, it would appear I am indeed sometimes identifying as a transgender woman"
