Has there ever been a more iconic entrance? Rest in peace, Tim Curry.
Prince and David Bowie died in four months in 2016 then we got Brexit, Trump, and COVID-19. Dolly Parton and Tim Curry within a day in 2026? We're doomed. I want them all back 💔
I really cannot think of a greater honor than to have the Muppets say this about you upon your passing
Tim Curry as Frank N Furter literally saved lives. If anyone tells you art isn't important, or it's silly, or you feel like it's a waste of time, imagine how the cast of Rocky Horror must have felt on that first night, and then what an impact it made. Don't dream it. Be it. Thank you, Tim Curry 💜

The US, from the start of the Russian Revolution to the fall of the USSR, gave communism undeserved credit for countless good ideas.
here is the thing. if you tell me that you believe that race is a biological category and that it is a guide to the objective superiority and inferiority of groups of people, i am not calling you a racist to *insult* you, i am calling you a racist because it best describes your beliefs.
not only that, they are demanding that they not be called racist when they are observed to be signing up to support the racist
I wouldn't call myself a cartoonist, but I had the vision and just needed it to be on paper to the best of my ability.
I miss websites as standard user endpoints. It's crazy how "There's an app for that" got us all excited, but it was really a way to bind us into platform ecosystems when we could have been using a free and open internet all along. Most apps are just website wrappers these days anyway.

Very cool first-hand account of a ghost from the 1800s!
O-M-BLOODY-G #UncannyCommunity!!! Remember when the great great grandchildren of Captain Alldridge, our witness from #UncannyColdCases, Case 6: HMS Asp wrote to me? Well, they got in touch again after finding, amongst his papers, his ORIGINAL handwritten account of the haunting aboard the ship! 🌊👻
Fabulous book post. Fantastic writing from @kymdeyn.bsky.social, @nathanielspain.bsky.social and @fworrallo.bsky.social .

I've taken the paywall off this piece, where I tried to imagine what the REAL stories behind some of the great photographs in the 1970s catalogues for the furniture shop Habitat were. I hope a few of you might get chance to have a read... www.tom-cox.com/the-true-sto...

In a world of chaotic things, releasing a book should be a moment of joy, so this hits hard.

A feral, off-balance descent that takes the joke creature seriously and grows its dread like a crop, on a schedule, until the whole hillside is ready to catch. Millican roots his monster in the machinery of an outlaw economy and lets it rise out of that dirt. gnofhorror.com/dopefoot-by-...
60% drop in reviews if people even smell AI on your game - full supports the investors, developers, and publishers that took a hard "no gen-AI" stance, despite grifters' proclamations that they were "going to be left behind".
Someone actually crunched the numbers, and using GenAI can decrease reviews for indie game on Steam (a useful proxy stat for sales) by as much as *58%* 🤖
